Marketing, Events & Outreach

The Marketing and Development Team at ECCO has many opportunities to get involved and be an advocate for the services we offer to the community - while also encouraging others to get involved as well!

ECCO Advocates:

Outreach volunteers advocate on behalf of ECCO's mission and goals. Help represent ECCO at table events, mission fairs, awareness campaigns, and engage with the community to build support. Time commitments range from weekdays to weekends, based on community events. This position includes trainings to equip volunteers to speak on ECCO's services and represent the organization.

Attributes: Comfortable networking, speaking to the community members

Alternative Service Opportunity: The Development Committee plays a key role in advancing ECCO's mission by supporting its growth and long-term sustainability. Responsibilities may include fundraising, building and nurturing donor relationships, event planning and assistance, marketing efforts, and contributing to strategic planning efforts that strengthen the organization’s impact in the community. The committee’s 2024 goals focus on event participation, stewardship participation, and growing the committee itself.

Marketing/Admin Volunteer: 

This role involves supporting ECCO's marketing efforts. Tasks may include implementing marketing campaigns to raise awareness and assisting with mailing campaigns. This could include sending out newsletters, fundraising appeals, or other communication materials to the organization's supporters. Time commitment varies on weekdays.

Attributes: Computer savvy, legible writing skills, attention to detail

Photographer or Videographer Volunteer:

This volunteer is responsible for capturing visual content, such as photos or videos, to document events, activities, and achievements of ECCO. Visual content is often used for marketing and storytelling purposes.Time commitment varies on weekdays.

Attributes: Experienced photographer with digital camera, editing a bonus

Fundraising Event Support:

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to help with our various fundraising events such as golf tournaments, pickleball tournaments, intimate gatherings, gala, etc.. As an Event Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of the event. Opportunities may include creating invite lists, collecting auction items, leveraging local connections, and day of support. This position does not require a background in fundraising.

Attributes: energetic about connecting with the community, loves to plan and execute events, detail oriented, hands-on, has an eye for event decor, bonus if well connected in the community
