Greatest Volunteer Needs

The vacancies below are currently our greatest volunteer needs. Please email volunteer@eccocharleston.org if you would like to receive more information or are able to fill a position.

Immediate - Dental Assistant Volunteer: We are seeking someone with a background in dentistry to assist our Clinic every Monday from 12:00 - 4:00pm. This position does not require an active license, but experience and knowledge in support of our Dentists. 

Kat's Closet Weekly Coverage: We are seeking coverage for Thusdays from 2:45 - 6:00pm. During this shift, volunteers will process donations and help our neighbors shop. 
Attributes: Comfortable communicating with various demographics and detail-oriented. Please note this standing position includes bending and lifting bags of donations. 

Kat's Closet Occasional Coverage: Want to make an impact while maintaining flexibility in your schedule? Inquire about attending a training session to become a certified drop-in! After attending training, you would receive a list of upcoming short-shifts and can volunteer whenever works best for you!

Ongoing - ECCO Advocacy: Outreach volunteers advocate on behalf of ECCO's mission and goals. Help represent ECCO at table events, mission fairs, awareness campaigns, and engage with the community to build support. Time commitments range from weekdays to weekends, based on community events. This position includes training to equip volunteers to speak on ECCO's services and represent the organization.
Attributes: Comfortable networking and speaking to various demographics.
